Originating from natural cared-for land, it reveals an exceptional purity and a rare character. Its name is derived from a butterfly (Brintesia circe) that lives in light woodland and bushy hills, and a plant (Silene vulgaris) from hedges and grasslands; also from Silenius, the god of drunkenness and the adoptive father of Bacchus, the god of wine.
