Trattoria La Strega

La Strega story is a fusion of two worlds; Nina Rydqvists passion for food and Andrea Consonnis love for wine. Living together in Milan before moving to Sweden, Andrea brought his knowledge and curiosity to Gothenburg while Nina, a proficient chef, had the chance to refine her already excellent cooking skills. Having relatives in Sicily and working in Lombardy, she had the opportunity to build experience in both Southern and Northern Italian kitchen. Real Italian food is far less trivial than what most people picture it to be; it is not just about pizza or pasta. Everything is at stake; from "make the most of the whole beast" to seasonal vegetables. A zero-waste meaning of cooking that Nina loves to realise in her kitchen and bring to her guests. In combination with Andreas love for clean wines, La Strega offers a very unique Italian experience.
