About Dominique Derain
Dominique Derain is a well-known name of the Hautes Côtes de Beaune. Today he is retired, and he has passed his property to Julien Altaber and Carole Ruffenach. He still receives requests from many vineyard owners throughout the world to vinify wines for them.
He met Julio Donoso (chilean winemaker at “Montsecano” and photographer) who suggested Dominique to come out to Chile to vinify some of his wines there. As a result: one wine produced: “Las Nubes”, which reveals itself as a delicious and fruity wine !
