About Mylène Bru
Born from a family of wine makers from the Corbières, I nevertheless created my own vineyard on a 5 ha domain in the Guarrigues near the Mediterranean sea.
The terroir is the ancient sea bed. It is white soil, very rich in magnesium, composed of crushed sea shells.
The natural landscape is intense and wild, each vine is surrounded by nature: spurge, holm oak, kermis oak, grey-leaved cistus, cade juniper, thyme, rosemary, spike lavender, buxus, tree heath, genisteae, pine, strawberry tree, honeysuckle, wild madder, sarsaparille.
Everything is worked by hand and horse since 5 years. The wine is expressed in the most natural way possible from the grapes.
The vines are planted on 15 plots of terraces exposed north/north-east and are Chasselas for white and Grenache, Syrah, Carignan, Cinsault for red (with a few rows of Marselan, Tempranillo and Aubun).
