In the wild and rugged landscape of the Priorat region there is a dramatic struggle for survival of the vine. A unique atmosphere that captivates any nature and wine lover. In 2003 Cusine family and the winemaker Jordi Fernandez amazed for this region, began the exciting project of Gratavinum. Its name comes from the contraction Gratallops (the name of the village where the winery is located) and Vinum, which means wine in Latin, in homage to the Romans who introduced the cultivation of vines in the region many centuries ago.

Our vineyards are certified as biodynamic by Demeter. The vines of Carignan and Grenache grow in the wild and rugged landscape of the Priorat region, where we find terraces rich in Licorella soil. Undoubtedly this soil is part of the magic of our wines, providing the distinctive mineral character of the wines of Priorat.
