About Eduardo Torres Acosta
Born in 1982 in Tenerife, Eduardo grew up in contact with the family wine tradition. Following his passion for the vineyard, he enrolled in Agricultural Engineering and continued his studies in Oenology. A few years later, the curiosity to get to know new territories and confront other producers led him to Sicily. In 2012 he participated in the harvest by Arianna Occhipinti, and a year later he worked as an oenologist at the Passopisciaro winery, attracted by the volcanic territory. In 2014 he began his work to restore the rented vineyards on the north side of Etna. In the same year he bottles the first vintage. In 2021, now in the eighth harvest, we work 4.5 Ha divided into 8 vineyards at different heights and districts. We continue to recover old vineyards cultivated for 90% with traditional sapling. Today the company believes in the importance of a continuous comparison and sharing with other producers, in the knowledge of other territories and other varieties. So let’s try to interpret a territory and make it known inside a glass.
