Lewis Dickson tasted Tony Coturri’s first commercially released wines in 1981 and the rest is a revelation. The two have been friends and ideological partners in crime ever since.

Coturri, an ever faithful leader in California natural wine for the past 38 years, eventually helped Dickson piece together the beacon of living wine in the Texas Hill Country that is La Cruz de Comal.

Taste selections from these two brilliant savants paired with snacks from Michael’s Santa Monica’s own eminent chef, Miles Thompson.
