Carles and Montse of Clot de les Soleres (Piera, Barcelona) will be coming straight from the airport to Furanxo to continue in last year’s tradition of their bar takeover pre RAW.
This is a great opportunity to meet Carles and Montse in person away from the madness of the fair, in a more intimate and casual environment. They’ll be pouring all their wines by the glass, particularly focussing on their bright and refreshing pet nats made from Macabeu, Xarel-lo and Chardonnay. They’ll talk about how in 1999 Carles replanted his family’s vineyard which dates back to the 17th century and how he moved from organic to natural winemaking and why they decided to leave the DO of Penedes.
All wines available by the glass to drink in as well as bottles to take away.
There will also be a special menu of Catalan inspired tapas and small plates prepared by Xabi.
